Eleanor Cepero-Percy
Eleanor Cepero-Percy moved to Colorado in 1980. She is a 13-year Army Veteran who spent the last three years houseless and struggling to make ends meet. Since enrolling in the Denver Basic Income Project, she has acquired an apartment, paid bills, and bought food and other necessities.
Cepero-Percy has been a strong advocate for the Denver Basic Income Project. In a 2024 interview at the Denver Mayor’s office, she declared the continued need for support from Denver and Colorado elected officials.
